ACDIS update: New CDI tip cards for problematic diagnoses available now

One of the benefits of ACDIS membership is access to the wealth of information and tools shared by other members. Over the last couple weeks, the ACDIS community has graciously contributed several CDI tip cards for some common problematic diagnoses to the ACDIS Resource Library.

In case you haven’t visited the Resource Library recently, here’s what’s been added:

• A tip card for obesity documentation, provided by Angela Maxfield, RN, CCDS, interim CDI specialists III at Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto California
• Deanne Wilk, BSN, RN, CCDS, manager of CDI at Penn State Health in Hershey, provided the following tip cards for:
  
  • Adult Malnutrition
  •  Renal failure  
  •  Respiratory failure
  •  Sepsis  
• Tonya Motsinger, MBA, BSN, RN, system director, CDI at Ohio Health in Columbus provided the following tip cards for:
  
  •  Malnutrition
  •  Renal diagnoses

Often, the ACDIS experience centers around community and shared experiences. This is just another example.
