Local chapter update: Plans for 2024? Tell ACDIS to help spread the news!

The ACDIS team would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to all our local chapter and networking group leaders who have devoted so much time, energy, and enthusiasm to fostering community among CDI professionals this year! After several years of pandemic-related stagnation, this year, chapters and networking groups came back with a bang. With 2023 almost in the books, we’re looking forward to seeing what 2024 will bring!

If your chapter is already planning events in 2024, we’d love to hear about them and help you spread the word to the ACDIS community.

December:

• The South Carolina ACDIS chapter is offering an on-demand webinar available from October 1 to December 31, 2023. The program is titled, “Social Determinants of Health - Quality of Care Implications,” and was presented by Donicia Lee, RN, BSN, CCDS, CCS. January:

• The Central Pennsylvania ACDIS chapter meets Friday, January 12, 2024, 9:45 a.m. to 1:25 p.m., via webinar, for their first quarterly meeting. For information, contact Courtney Spangler (cspangler4@wellspan.org).
• The Illinois ACDIS chapter meets Wednesday, January 17, 2024, 12–1 p.m., via webinar. The program is titled, “CDI Developmental Reviews and Monitoring CDI Review Performance,” and will be presented by Jennifer Hrabal, MSN, RN, CCDS, and Carley Lively, MSN, RN, CCDS.
