Note from the Product Coordinator: Last chance to apply to speak at ACDIS 2024 events!

April might seem far away—three whole seasons, in fact—but for the ACDIS team, it might as well be just around the corner, as we’re officially kicking off our conference planning season! With the ACDIS conference set for April 8–11 as well as ACDIS Symposium: Outpatient CDI and ACDIS Physician Advisor Forum on April 7–8, we’re in for a busy spring! Lucky for us, we’ll get to be busy with some of our favorite people!
But we do need your help preparing for these events in Indianapolis next year. Between the three, we have more than 75 slots that we’re looking to fill with educational sessions, and that’s where you come in! We’re looking for industry professionals to share their experiences, regardless of whether they’re new to CDI or a seasoned veteran.
The ACDIS conference features the following five tracks, meaning that there is a possible fit for almost any topic related to CDI:
- Clinical and Coding
- CDI Master Class
- Quality and Regulatory
- Management and Program Development
- Innovation and Expansion
Plus, we’re also looking for speakers for our outpatient and physician advisor events, which take place immediately before the conference. Whatever your area of expertise, we encourage you to apply and share your story.
However, time is running out. Our call for speakers officially closes on Monday, July 31. That means there are only four short days left to throw your hat in the ring!
The application is brief and easy, and you can choose to be considered for one or all three events with just the click of a button. Come prepared with a proposed title, brief description, and 3-5 learning outcomes for your session as well as contact information for any co-speakers.
And perhaps the best part? As a thank you for sharing your time with your peers, ACDIS will provide complimentary registration for you and up to one co-speaker to the event at which you are selected to speak, allowing you the chance to network with industry professionals and earn the CEUs you need.
And if you’re stuck on an idea, don’t fear! We’re here to help. For the 2024 ACDIS conference, some topics we’re looking to receive additional applications for include (but are not limited to):
- Denials and appeals
- Utilization review/utilization management
- Mortality
- Social determinants of health
- Pediatric CDI
- Outpatient CDI and/or CDI in expanding areas
