ACDIS update: Earn up to 24 ACDIS CEUs through your membership and free ACDIS offerings!

Did you know that just by taking advantage of the CEUs offered through the CDI Journal, ACDIS Podcast, Quarterly Calls, and the CDI Week webinar, you could earn 24 CEUs per year toward your CCDS/CCDS-O recertification?

ACDIS periodically offers free single or multi-day events during the year that offer ACDIS CEUs. Events like these are announced on a rolling basis via the ACDIS website, CDI Strategies, and on our social media channels—but you don’t have to wait for an announcement to catch up on earning your CEUs. One of our association’s main goals is to provide a medium for education, and we’ve structured much of our content and events to reflect this! On our website, you can find the following CEU opportunities:

• ACDIS Quarterly Calls: As the name suggests, these calls occur quarterly throughout the year and are a benefit of ACDIS membership where hot topics prevalent within the CDI industry are discussed. Each call is approved for one CEU. In 2023, they will be held on February 23, May 25, August 24, and November 16. To register for this year’s series, ACDIS members can click here. You can also at any point go back up to one calendar year to claim CEUs for past quarterly call recordings, so for another month, all the 2022 quarterly calls are still available to earn CEUs from!
• CDI Journal: The CDI Journal releases six editions per calendar year, with one CEU possible to obtain for each edition, which can be claimed by taking the associated edition survey. ACDIS members can at any point go back up to one calendar year to read and earn CEUs through this avenue.
• ACDIS Podcast: Each episode of the ACDIS Podcast now offers 0.5 ACDIS CEUs per episode! Episodes are posted every other Wednesday, for a total of 26 episodes per year, offering up to 13 CEUs for all who listen to every episode and take the associated survey. Each episode survey is only open till Friday at 11 p.m. eastern, so after that two-day window the chance for CEU credit is over. For more information, click here.
• CDI Week webinar: Every year, ACDIS offers a free webinar during CDI Week in September, highlighting the findings from the CDI Week Industry Survey. You can go back for one year to listen to the webinar and take the associated CEU survey. The 2022 webinar can be found here.
• Free and sponsored webinars: These take place on a rolling basis and often offer 1-1.5 CEUs, depending on the length of the program. The CEU period for these programs only remains open roughly two weeks after the live program. Upcoming shows will always be posted here. Our sponsorship team also sends out marketing-type emails when these programs are upcoming.
