ACDIS update: Share how your department develops query templates and policies

With every edition of the CDI Journal, ACDIS heavily relies on the expert insight of its community. Our editors work with CDI professionals who submit contributed articles and write articles based on interviews conducted with folks in the CDI community. For this upcoming 2023 January/February edition, we’re looking to start the year off going back to the basics and are looking for experienced voices!

Nearly every CDI department sends queries and many use pre-made query templates that are created with an eye toward the needs of the organization and maintaining compliance. For new programs working from the ground up, developing templates can be an especially large challenge! That’s why we want to hear from you. How has your department developed a query template, and what policies do you maintain for query compliance at your facility?
