Local Chapter Update: Upcoming meetings and events

Of all the activities and educational offering at the 9^th Annual ACDIS Conference one of our fondest no doubt will be the connections made by our local chapter leaders’ and volunteers’ efforts. Kathy Brady-Wiesler brought the most adorable display including light up letters that spelled “Ohio” and red and white balloons for a table dedicated to attendees from the state. Deb Dallos and her team brought inflatable palm trees to decorate tables for the Florida attendees. And Jeanne Bradbury brought Texas ACDIS Chapter buttons to hand out.

That’s just naming a few of the clever activities. There were after-hours events and socials, a discussion amongst leaders across the country, and any number of impromptu networking activities prompted by attendees wearing sports-themed shirts emblazoned with a local team or city name making it easier for individuals to find one another in the crowd of more than 1,900 people.
