Local chapter update: Summertime CDI fun

As the temperatures climb, CDI summertime events are taking shape too. As you plan your next chapter event, make sure to take a moment to review the items in the Leadership Toolkit for help planning the best possible chapter event.

Please also take a moment to contact ACDIS Associate Director Melissa Varnavas (mvarnavas@acdis.org) and Editor Linnea Archibald (larchibald@acdis.org) about your event so they can help you plan and publicize your activities to the larger ACDIS national membership through CDI Strategies. Additionally, the ACDIS team can pull the chapter’s roster from the online membership roster for leaders to ensure the event info gets to all the interested individuals.

When sending your event information, please include the following details:

• Date
• Time
• Location
• Any relevant details you’d like to include (e.g., save-the-date flyer, agenda, registration link, etc.)
• Name and email address of the event contact

We look forward to hearing about your plans! Remember, too, that ACDIS allows its local chapters to apply for continuing education credits free of charge but leadership must complete the application form 30 days in advance of the meeting.
