2014 Conference, Track 6: Leading the Way: Program Management for an Innovative CDI Team
Vicki Sullivan Davis, RN, Clinical Documentation Improvement Manager at Cone Health System at Alamance Regional in Burlington, N.C., provides participants with the tools to achieve excellence while confidently managing their CDI team. Davis outlines qualities a good leader should possess and review techniques to elp you become a more successful leader. She introduces industry innovations available to help further enhance already-established CDI programs. Case presentations and conflict resolution strategies will also be included. Finally, this session introduces tools/forms for goal setting, productivity benchmarking, physician education, and staff motivation.
