ACDIS update: 56% of CDI professionals don’t participate in rounds, according to poll
In the early days of CDI it would be unusual for a CDI department not to participate in physician rounds. However, according to the newest ACDIS poll, less than half of CDI departments still join in on rounds either daily or intermittently.
Though remote work is often credited for the move away from rounds, 41% of respondents say that they have never participated in rounds before, while only 15% said they used to participate.
