Local chapter update: Getting to know the Chapter Advisory Board

The Chapter Advisory Board (CAB) is made up of nine former and current local chapter leaders in order to serve as liaisons between local chapter leaders and ACDIS national administration by participating in chapter leadership conference calls, promoting best practice, and providing guidance to leaders across the country.

This year, the CAB members have offered advice for joint chapter events, all-day events, and facilitating chapter leadership transitions in the CDI Journal and CDI Strategies. Currently, they are working on updating the Local Chapter Agreement Form.

In 2019, ACDIS will be seeking four new CAB members. Although the official call for volunteers will be held in January, those interested in volunteering can reach out to ACDIS Editorial Director Melissa Varnavas at mvarnavas@acdis.org for more details.

ACDIS also hopes that chapter members and chapter leaders will let us know what kind of assistance the national organization and the CAB could/should be offering to its local chapters and networking groups in 2019. So, please let us know your ideas for keeping these groups growing strong!

November:
