Symposium update: Speak up at the 2018 Outpatient Symposium

Do you have an amazing outpatient CDI program? Why not share your experiences with the rest of the CDI community on the stage at the 2018 ACDIS Symposium: Outpatient CDI.

The deadline for presentation applications has been extended to Monday, March 12. Please note that speakers chosen to present at the event will have their registration fees waived.

We seek presentations on all aspects of outpatient CDI, particularly on the following topics:

Metrics and data analytics: Key metrics related to outpatient CDI
How to conduct quality-of-care focused reviews in the outpatient setting
Difference in CDI practices: Ambulatory (physician/clinic, etc.) vs. hospital-based outpatient (ED/observation, etc.)
Implementing an internal Medicare risk adjustment audit
How to leverage the EHR to improve outpatient CDI
Provider education in outpatient CDI
Provider engagement with diagnosis coding and documentation
HCCs and how to calculate

Sessions will be chosen by the 2018 ACDIS Symposium Conference Committee, who seek to meet the needs of those who already have outpatient CDI programs as well as those who are considering programs for the future. Click here to meet the conference committee volunteers.
