Providers could see adjustments ranging from negative 4% to positive 12% in 2019, and from negative 9% to positive 27% in 2022 from new pay-for-performance measures. The program is designed to be budget neutral with high performers eligible for additional bonuses. In other words, providers face a potential 36% income margin in 2022. Finally, performance against MIPS measures will be published on Physician Compare.
