Note from the ACDIS Editor: Share your feedback with ACDIS!

One of my great pleasures as an ACDIS editor is getting to interview CDI professionals from so many differing backgrounds and circumstances who have their own unique goals for our bimonthly CDI Journal publication. In speaking with more and more of you, I’m in awe of how much diversity there is when it comes to the job responsibilities, educational backgrounds, and needs of our membership. No matter how different we are, however, there is one common thread: CDI professionals want to enact change for the better. And so, we would be remiss if ACDIS, the sole association dedicated to this profession, wanted anything less!
To help us do so, now through Friday, March 8, ACDIS is collecting responses to its annual ACDIS Membership Survey. This survey provides us a glimpse into each member’s needs, wants, and even frustrations. While we can’t sit down with each of you, your candid responses in this survey will be invaluable as ACDIS seeks to improve its offerings within the membership and the broader industry. We also are open to any non-member friends who would like to add their input, particularly surrounding our free resources!
In the survey, we ask questions to gauge what’s most valuable to you about your ACDIS membership, and what isn’t. There are plenty of free response options too, with open questions about things such as the additional resources you would like us to make available or the type of industry guidance you’d like to see for the betterment of your job.
And to sweeten the deal, all respondents can enter a giveaway! If you fill out your contact information at the end of the survey, you may be one of two lucky winners of either a free webinar or free membership to be announced after the closing of the survey (see official rules).
The ACDIS national team works each day to add value and improve opportunities that come with our membership, but we can’t fully know the true needs and desires of our members without you. I hope you consider taking the time to give feedback as we plan for the future of ACDIS!
