Note from the ACDIS Editor: Making connections with others in CDI
By Linnea Archibald
One of the best parts about ACDIS membership is that it gives members a platform for connection—with others in the CDI profession nationwide, and with those in other adjacent departments (physicians, coding professionals, case managers, etc.).
The ACDIS Forum, the annual conference, the ACDIS Symposium, and local chapter events all provide valuable means of connection and networking for CDI professionals. ACDIS’ social media platforms, however, are also a great option for building relationships across facility, departmental, and state lines.
Right now, nearly 3,000 folks are a part of the ACDIS Facebook group. Nearly 6,000 are connected through the ACDIS LinkedIn group. Roughly 1,000 connect with us on Twitter.
That’s a lot of CDI professionals to get to know.
Whether you have a specific question, are a sole CDI specialist at your facility and are looking for connection, or just want to be a part of the CDI community, the ACDIS social media platforms are for you.
