News: Come and get to know us better

This afternoon the core members of the ACDIS leadership team joined onstage in room 121-122, from 5-6 p.m., with an intimate group of a few dozen association members. We say intimate because after a long day of educational sessions in rooms packed with multiple hundreds of individuals, it was nice to sit back, relax, and catch our breath over a conversation about membership and its benefits. For the past 10 years, the team got to know so many ACDIS members and conference attendees but because the conference can be a whirlwind of activity rarely have we had an opportunity to stand together and provide attendees with a look behind the curtain—to let you see that ACDIS isn’t merely a man with gadgets (like the Great and Powerful Wizard of Oz in his Emerald City that the MGM Grand was built on) but a group of highly dedicated individuals who honestly love what they do, supported by an amazing group of CDI professionals who volunteer to keep the association running. This session was an opportunity for attendees to get to know us better and learn more about the roles and responsibilities each of us play.
