News: CMS hosts ICD-10 summit Friday; Physician Compare meeting Feb. 24

CMS holds its “eHealth Summit on ICD-10” on Friday, Feb. 14, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at its headquarters in Baltimore. During the summit, leaders will share insight on preparations related to the ICD-10 compliance date and panel discussions will relate best practices. To register to attend the meeting in-person or via webcast visit cmsehealthsummit.org.
CMS also hosts a town hall meeting to solicit input on the future of the Physician Compare website,Monday, February 24, 1-5 p.m. The Town Hall will give stakeholders the opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions regarding the future of public reporting on Physician Compare. Register by email to PhysicianCompare@Westat.com, use the subject line “Physician Compare Town Hall Registration,” include your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and whether you plan to participate in person or via telephone by Monday, Feb. 17.
