Local chapter update: Tell ACDIS about your chapter meetings and we’ll spread the word!

Though summer is in full swing, we know ACDIS chapters are always busy planning for future events. If you’re hoping to offer CEUs for the event, make sure to apply at least 30 days in advance to ensure ACDIS can process your request on time (click here or check the Local Chapter Leadership Toolkit to see what information is required in a CEU application). If you don’t have all the information ready yet, we can still feature your event earlier in the CDI Strategies newsletter and on the ACDIS website if you request it with all the information you do have, such as date, time, place, title, speaker, and contact person.

Both of these requests should be made via the ACDIS Local Chapter Leadership Request form. And, as always, local chapter leaders should feel free to reach out to the ACDIS team at info@acdis.org with any questions. We are here to support you!

July:

• The Michigan ACDIS chapter meets Thursday, July 20, 2023, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., via webinar. The program is titled, “CDI Practice and Performance Improvement,” and will be presented by Jennie Suder, MM, BSN, RN, CCDS, and Christine McNamara, BSN, RN, CCDS. • The Central Pennsylvania ACDIS chapter meets Friday, July 21, 2023, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., via webinar, for their third quarterly meeting. For more information, contact Courtney Spangler (cspangler4@wellspan.org).
• The Tennessee ACDIS chapter meets Friday, July 28, 2023, 12–1 p.m., via webinar. The program is titled, “Patient Safety Indicators: How CDI May Impact Accurate PSI Capture and Reporting,” and will be presented by Keisha Downes, MBA-HM, RN. • The California ACDIS chapter meets Wednesday, July 26, 2023, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., via webinar.
