Local chapter update: To offer CCDS CEUs at your next chapter event, follow this simple process

Did you know ACDIS local chapters can apply for and offer CCDS CEUs at no cost? Though there’s no monetary charge, there is still a process which local chapter leaders must follow in order to appropriately offer the credits.

Local chapter leaders must complete and submit the local chapter CEU application at least 30 days in advance of the meeting.

The application should include all the details for the event (even if there are multiple speakers, include them all on one form). It should be accompanied by speaker/presenter bios (with credentials), a list of learning objectives, a list of benefits to the attendee, and a timed agenda. Please remember that one CEU is provided per hour of instruction, excluding breaks.

The completed form should be sent to CCDS Coordinator Penny Richards (prichards@acdis.org) and ACDIS Editor Linnea Archibald (larchibald@acdis.org) for processing. The 30-day period between the form submission and the event date ensures sufficient time for processing and clarifications as needed.
