Local chapter update: New additions to the ACDIS Local Chapter Leadership Toolkit

If your chapter is planning an event, trying to reach new potential members, or get off the ground for the first time, the ACDIS Local Chapter Leadership Toolkit is the best place to look for resources.

The Toolkit includes resources for chapters at every stage of growth. As a sampling, here’s a few things that have recently been added to the resource list for your chapter efforts:

• Sample onsite volunteer to-do checklist
• Sample speaker solicitation letter
• Sample vendor request letter
• Sample chapter bylaws (donated by the North Carolina chapter)

While there’s a number of great resources to help you grow and maintain your chapter, chapter leaders are encouraged to reach out to Melissa Varnavas (mvarnavas@acdis.org) and Linnea Archibald (larchibald@acdis.org) for additional help as needed.
