Local chapter update: Chapters launch in Colorado, northern New Jersey

ACDIS national is pleased to announce the launch of two new chapters in Colorado and northern New Jersey! These two groups are busily planning for their first events with more details to come, but if you live in either geographic area and want to stay in the loop, make sure to complete the Online Local Chapter Roster by clicking here. September:

• The Pediatric Networking Group (APDIS) meets Thursday, September 7, 2023, 3–4:30 p.m., via webinar. The program is titled, “Pediatric Outpatient CDI Primary Care - Nemours Children's Health System,” and will be presented by Valerie Bica, BSN, RN, and Viji Anchan, MSN, RN, CPN, CRC. • The Kansas City, Missouri ACDIS chapter meets Wednesday, September 13, 2023, 2–3:30 p.m., via webinar. The program is titled, “CDI's Role in Denials Avoidance,” and will be presented by Glenn Krauss, BBA, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CPUR, CCDS, C-CDI, C-DAM, C-PA. • The Greater New York ACDIS chapter meets Thursday, September 14, 2023, 2–3 p.m., via webinar.
