Local Chapter Events: Conference provides unique networking opportunities

CDI Strategies - Volume 7, Issue 11
Whether you are just beginning your career as a CDI professional, or have been a CDI specialist for many years, there are days when you just feel like talking things over with a fellow professional. That’s just one reason networking can be so valuable.
To foster such networking, more than 40 local chapters of ACDIS located across the country meet on a regular basis. To facilitate their continued growth, and bring them all together under one roof, ACDIS hosts its Local Chapter Trivia & Lunch event on Day 2 of the ACDIS conference.
This year the Tennessee ACDIS Chapter opted to create a trivia contest and scavenger hunt. We encourage you to explore the city of Nashville and attempt to learn the answers to the tourist-specific questions which will be included with your materials package when you arrive at the conference. There are a number of ACDIS and CDI-related trivia questions as well. Please refrain from using your smart phones or other devices to answer these questions and work instead with your colleagues and friends to deduce the solutions.
Playing is easy. Use the seating chart in your agenda to locate your state’s table, grab a box lunch on Wednesday, May 22, and join us at the rear of the exhibit hall at 12:15 p.m.
Note: Attendees are invited to wear clothing indicative of their region or sports teams throughout the day to make it easier to identify individuals from your region.
Many thanks go to our Tennessee ACDIS Chapter hosts who helped create the trivia/scavenger hunt questions, chose the prizes, and lead our game.
In addition, many local chapters and networking groups will be holding after-hour meetups throughout the conference, including:
