Embracing CDI: Finding professional purpose beyond bedside care

Learning how documentation opportunities can maximize efficiency and overall cost-effectiveness is something to be passionate about. Working as a patient care nurse was extremely rewarding, but as a CDI professional I am now able to affect my organization’s bottom line. Perpetuating the delivery of quality healthcare to patients and communities for generations to come is what keeps me engaged in the world of CDI.
