Quality is the new mantra in healthcare, and for good reason. The only way the U.S. is going to dig its way out of higher costs, unnecessary readmissions, and skyrocketing premiums is improving care across the continuum in a more efficient, cost-efficient manner. CDI specialists can help.
That is why this year’s CDI Week theme is “CDI and Quality.” On September 15-19 we’ll be celebrating our fourth annual week of recognition for this critical profession and covering a number of hot-button issues in our industry overview survey, but taking a close look at where the nation’s CDI programs are with helping to clarify quality-related documentation like patient safety indicators, Hospital Acquired Conditions, CMS quality measures (aka., core measures), and more.
As in years’ past, ACDIS provides several Q&As, contests, and suggested activities throughout the course of CDI Week, including the popular annual industry survey.
