Associate Director’s Note: Seeking outpatient CDI conference committee volunteers

In 2017, we launched a new live event focused on the ever-growing and changing outpatient arena. I’m pleased to announce that we will be hosting the event again in 2018. Next year’s ACDIS Symposium: Outpatient CDI will be bigger and better, but we need your help to ensure we build a conference that meets your needs.

We are seeking committee members, with outpatient CDI experience, who will help us plan the agenda and review speaker applications for the event, occurring in November 2018. (Details still to be announced—but watch this space!)

If you’re interested in serving as a volunteer for the 2018 ACDIS Symposium: Outpatient CDI Conference Committee, please complete the application form no later than Friday, December 22.

ACDIS Symposium Conference Committee members receive 50% off conference admission. You must expect to attend as many as four to six one-hour meetings during work hours, February through May, devoting additional time to review speaker applications on your own. Please make sure you can meet this time commitment prior to applying.

The Conference Committee will help the ACDIS editorial team establish session topics, review speaker applications and presentation proposals, and ultimately select all 2018 speakers.
