ACDIS update: New job description available in the Resource Library

The ACDIS Forms & Tools Library Committee recently reviewed and approved a new regional CDI director job description for publication in the ACDIS Resource Library. The description was submitted by Robin Jones, RN, BSN, MHA/Ed, CCDS, regional director of CDI, west Florida division, at AdventHealth in Tampa, is available to ACDIS members now.

In addition to reviewing newly submitted job descriptions, query forms, educational tools, and more, the committee is also in the process of reviewing previously published materials to ensure that everything in the Library is up-to-date, compliant, and useful for today’s CDI professional.

Currently, the committee is working its way through the sample queries published more than two years ago and removing those deemed outdated, which has opened up several gaps in the Library’s offerings. To fill that need, ACDIS is calling on members to submit any query templates (or other resources) to ACDIS Editor Linnea Archibald (larchibald@acdis.org) for review and publication.

The Library is built by the ACDIS membership and is one of the most valuable resources available to members. We appreciate you helping us make it the best it can be.
