ACDIS update: Make leadership a 2021 resolution and run for the advisory board
The ACDIS advisory board is looking for its next group of leaders to run for this important position!
The advisory board has four openings, and we’re currently looking for members who fit one of two categories:
- Clinicians or professionals with clinical training or experience, which may include registered nurses possessing an RN licensure, physician assistants (PA) or nurse practitioners (NP), or foreign medical graduates (MBBS, etc.)
- Individuals possessing HIM/coding certifications (RHIA/RHIT)
ACDIS advisory board members play an important role helping the ACDIS leadership, presenting on panels and podcasts, and developing industry guidance shared with the membership. It is not time-consuming, meetings typically occur during regular 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. work hours, and you can read the full scope of work and benefits advisory board members receive by clicking here.
Please submit your application no later than Thursday, February 18, end of business (eastern time). Applications will be reviewed by a nomination committee, and finalists will be elected via popular vote of the ACDIS membership. Apply by clicking here.
