ACDIS update: Help us build a better ACDIS by volunteering for committee service
June 11, 2020
CDI Strategies - Volume 14, Issue 24
ACDIS is built by many individual members, each volunteering their time and expertise for the furthering of the CDI profession. There are 10 separate boards and committees of volunteers working behind the scenes month in and month out to make ACDIS the best association it can be. Right now, ACDIS is looking for volunteers for four of those groups!
Anyone wishing to apply should submit their application by Friday, July 3, to be considered. Below are the groups currently seeking volunteers. Please visit the ACDIS website and review the obligations, expected time commitments, and scopes of work for more information.
- CDI Week Committee: Responsible for planning activities for the 2020 CDI Week festivities and participating in Q&As based on the 2020 CDI Week Industry Survey.
- Forms & Tools Library Committee: Responsible for reviewing materials donated to the ACDIS community for publication in the Resource Library for accuracy, compliance, relevance, and effectiveness.
- ACDIS Regulatory Committee: Responsible for reviewing regulatory policy and coding and clinical updates, commenting to agencies on behalf of ACDIS, and providing summary, interpretation, and analysis to the ACDIS membership.
- ACDIS CDI Scholarship Committee: Responsible for maintaining and updating scholarship criteria and application processes, selecting scholarship recipients from a pool of applicants, and promoting continued CDI education among the ACDIS and broader CDI communities.
To apply for any of these committees, click here and fill out the requested information by Friday, July 3.
