ACDIS update: Check out the recent Resource Library additions
The ACDIS Forms & Tools Library Committee recently approved four new samples for publication in the ACDIS Resource Library. Additionally, the committee has included suggestions with each sample for those adapting these resources. Here’s what’s new in the Library:
- Sample interview guide sheet and sample peer review decision matrix from Robin Jones, RN, BSN, MHA/Ed, CCDS, a division director of CDI in Florida.
- Sample query for HIV cause-and-effect from Lindsey Amus, RHIT, CCDS, CHDA, CCS, CCS-P, SSBBP, a CDQI auditor at Ciox Health in Alpharetta, Georgia.
- Sample complications tip card from Nick Stultz, RN, CCDS, a CDI specialist at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
While these samples aren’t a one-size-fits-all solution for all CDI programs everywhere, samples such as these in the Resource section of the website can be a starting point for developing your own forms, tool, policies, and procedures.
Please take a moment to check out these materials and the rest of the samples included in the Resource Library.
If you have a tool, sample, or resource to share, please send it to ACDIS Editor Linnea Archibald (larchibald@acdis.org). Currently, the committee is looking for sample denial appeal letters for publication in the Resource Library and in the September/October edition of the CDI Journal. The ACDIS membership and leadership team appreciates it!
