ACDIS update: Applications for the CDI Leadership Council close August 31

The ACDIS CDI Leadership Council connects forward-thinking CDI supervisors, managers, and directors who often do not have the community and resources they need while in a leadership role. Through personalized insight-sharing and networking opportunities, the Council helps CDI leaders make valuable new relationships, advance strategic priorities, and better understand and predict industry trends. The application for the 2022/2023 term is still open until August 31 for any interested leaders to apply.

Joining the Council is free, and you do not need to be a member of ACDIS to apply. Interested leaders simply must meet the eligibility and participation requirements. Those interested in applying must be:

1. A current CDI leader (e.g., supervisor, manager, director, or educator) employed by a healthcare provider organization.
2. Able to meet the following participation requirements for the membership term of October 1, 2022, through August 31, 2023:
   
   1. Complete at least 75% of surveys offered during your membership term. (Up to two per quarter/eight per years, designed by Council editors and/or sponsors, generally take 15 minutes or less to complete)
   2. Provide and reconfirm membership eligibility and professional details as requested. Inform Council management of any changes in circumstances that may impact eligibility status as soon as possible.
   3. Grant permission for HCPro and ACDIS to share your contact information and aggregate survey response data with Council sponsors.

Council members receive early access to research insights, ongoing access to fellow CDI leaders in a peer-to-peer exchange on our dedicated Council Forum thread and in the monthly CDI Leadership Insider newsletter, and even receive exclusive invitations to opportunities such as the annual CDI Leadership Exchange.

You can apply with our simple form until applications close August 31, after which applicants will be notified of membership appointments in early September. Meetings will begin on October 14 and continue on an every-other-month basis until August 2023, occurring on the second Friday of each month at 2-3 p.m. eastern.
