ACDIS update: ACDIS committee applications open until February 10

So often, inspiring individuals in the CDI community go above and beyond their essential everyday work. In large part, it’s thanks to these volunteers that ACDIS can provide guidance, appreciation and recognition programs, celebrations, and support to its members.

ACDIS boards and committees provide a great avenue for any CDI professional looking to serve their community. On top of that, volunteers also have personal opportunity to widen their own personal and professional network through their terms of service. Right now, applications are open till Friday, February 10 for the ACDIS Advisory Board, the Chapter Advisory Board, and the Forms & Tools Committee, so don’t miss your chance to get more involved!

Chapter Advisory Board members serve as liaisons between local chapter leaders and ACDIS national administration. Its members participate on chapter leadership conference calls, promoting best practice and providing guidance to leaders across the country. They make annual updates to the “Leadership Toolkit” and answer questions from ACDIS local chapter and networking group volunteers as needed. Forms & Tools Committee members review and evaluate the publication merit of field-sourced CDI materials in the Forms & Tools Library for accuracy, compliance, relevance, and effectiveness. They also contribute materials themselves for committee review, provide insight into current industry trends, and help evaluate opportunities and gaps in the library’s current contents.
